[Logwatch] Samba logs very verbose

Below is a (small) extract of the samba section of my daily logwatch
messages. Is there some way
that the logwatch config files can be altered to make this less verbose?

I have Slackware 9.1 with samba-3.0.3. I run an ancient version of
logwatch. I tried replacing the existing /etc/log.d/scripts/services/samba
with the one from the latest version but there's been no change

I'm not a perl expert and am not keen on hacking the thing.

Any suggestions.?
