This is just for information purposes...
I have never actually run this service "zz-network" before because it was always
defaulted to not run in "logwatch.conf"
# The 'Service' option expects either the name of a filter
# (in /etc/log.d/scripts/services/*) or 'All'.
# The default service(s) to report on. This should be left as All for
# most people.
Service = All
# You can also disable certain services (when specifying all)
Service = "-zz-network" # Prevents execution of zz-network service, which
# prints useful network configuration info.
When I finally started using logwatch 7.0 it told me the service didn't exist to
disable so I commented the "-zz-network" line out and everything worked.
Just out of curiousity, I ran it individually using...
./logwatch.pl --service zz-network
and it worked perfectly.
