[Logwatch] No Samba output with applydate

Hi,

Logwatch 6.1.2 on Fedora FC4

I new to the list so sorry if I am missing something obvious.

I upgraded my logwatch installation and lost a few entries. I have been trying to work
out what has happened, particular with the samba entries.

While tried to work out what is wrong I eventually noticed that the filter
/etc/log.d/scripts/logfiles/samba/applydate was killing the output.

If I remove the applydate then I get output, albeit not as pretty as it used to be.

As a side note I have also had to create a link from a dir in my perl @inc to
/etc/log.d/lib/Logwatch.pm. Is logwatch a CPAN module?

Am I doing something wrong? Or Should I just remove the applydate and live with it.
Thanx in advance.
Dp.
