[Logwatch] Simple Sendmail report without all mail entries

Try using --detail 1.  It pretty much lists what you requested, plus
severe errors.  For example, try:

    logwatch --print --service sendmail --detail 1

If that is what you want, you can set:

    echo "Detail = 1" >> /etc/logwatch/conf/services/sendmail.conf

so that it is active in future Logwatch runs.
