With logwatch 7.3.6 this is just a daily report. On my Centos 5 machine
the following seems to do the job for a weekly report:

logwatch --service postfix --range "between -7 days and -1 days"

 ################### Logwatch 7.3.6 (05/19/07) ####################
        Processing Initiated: Sun Oct 14 23:34:21 2007
Date Range Processed: between -7 days and -1 days
                              ( 2007-Oct-07 / 2007-Oct-13 )

The same command on a Centos 4.5 machine with the same version of
logwatch sends it in some manic mode sending me a number of full command
line instructions blended with some parts of a logwatch report.

So it seems the results are rather unpredicatable as they depend too
much on other factors.

Hugo.

PS: Both machines are kept up-to-date and use rpmforge besides the
Centos repository.
